Requirements for Inspections

For NEW TASMANIAN REGISTRATIONS the vehicle driver must know the location of the VIN number stamped onto the Chassis of the vehicle and the ENGINE Number from the Engine.

If the vehicle is a public PASSENGER VEHICLE the vehicle driver must bring the PASSENGER VEHICLE ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE with them.

If these requirements are not met the inspection can not be carried out.
